I go to my task list and pick something out to work on. I start to do it and inevitably within five steps I perform some action that will take a minute and a half to complete. I can't just stare at the screen for a minute and a half. WHAM! The mouse jumps to screen number eight and the beckoning instant gratification of Firefox and a fast network connection and I never ever have to wait a minute and a half so I never wake up and go back to screen number two where the minute and a half task finished half an hour ago.
