"weekend"

I suppose the "weekend" still ends the week even when it doesn't come with its usual figurative accessories (like a break from work). This weekend saw a long-overdue software upgrade at work which saw me working considerably harder and longer than I like (not that this is saying much).

All the drama at work and in town didn't stop me from seeing Serenity on Friday with B (and a gang from work).
