It is International Change Your Icon Day (or so my friendlist seems to indicate), so what's a guy to do? This LJ needed more nudity anyway.

Now that the party has been announced and it's looking like large numbers of people actually plan to attend, we're having to plan the prep and food and execution. We have friends offering to help with all of those, but in our planning session, we came up with enough work to keep us busy for weeks.

And yet I still can barely pry myself out of bed (more appropriateness of the new icon...) Of course in my opinion we could get a keg, a bag of chips, and some onion dip and call it good. ;-) Fortunately for everyone who's coming, B is far more in charge and has higher expectations. Unfortunately those expectations are pretty far beyond the realm of the possible. But they will converge over the course of the week.

B has been painting the bathroom yesterday and today and I've been working on party favors (which so far has entailed sitting at the computer which is a huge stretch, I got to tell you). I think I'm going to move on to some of the habitat restoration projects today.
