Well, that was no fun. B and I spent the last 48 hours dealing with stomach flu. I won't give too many details, but let me say that achalasia's ability to restrict my ability to swallow is even more effective in restricting my ability to vomit. This resulted in some very uncomfortable muscle wrenching that, coupled with my inability to drink any water, sent me to urgent care this afternoon. They gave me two liters of IV fluids and some anti-nausea meds which seems to have been enough to let the muscle cramps relax so I'm now able to consume fluids in the more conventional manner. Feel like I might be close to normal again tomorrow.

To add insult to injury I've had Just You N Me by Chicago stuck in my head the whole time.
