So at Flying House in Issaquah the power went out at 1:35am Friday.
I'd been trying to do some work from home, but every flicker of the power was making the DSL hang forcing me to redo the whole vpn login process so it was kind of a relief when it finally went out for good. At 1:35. I know it was 1:35 because that's what the mechanical digital clock on the oven kept trying to trick us into thinking the time was for the next couple days.
( more fun in the dark and cold )
The power came back on at 3:42am Monday. I usually am annoyed by our loud furnace fan, but it sure sounded nice then. 74 hours and seven minutes all told. Plenty long enough!
So things we might do to prepare for next time:

So things we might do to prepare for next time:
- Look into a more heatery gas fireplace solution
- Get a UPS for the server closet just to smooth out the flickers
- Get B some fingerless gloves so she doesn't hog mine the whole time
