Haven't seen anybody in the old friendslist talking about Twitter the new trendy web2.0 app. It's very simple. You create an account and then you repeatedly answer the question "what are you doing?" The twist is that your answer has to be 140 characters or less. The fun is in building a friends list so you see what your friends and acquaintances are up to. It's got hooks so you can interact with it via IM or SMS.

For some reason the 140 character limit makes my brain want to answer in haiku (or at least three lines of 5/7/5 syllables. I seldom follow any of the other traditions of the form).
