Took a three-day weekend since my parents came up last Thursday. Went to the Cougar Mountain Zoo and saw tigers (and lemurs and birds) on Friday. Then on Saturday went to the farmer's market and to MOHAI for cool photographs and to University Book Store and failed to go to Coastal Kitchen (bad timing). Then today went to my sister's place for way more of my father's family than has been in one place in recent memory. So, mostly fun and exhausting. I'm not sure what happened in the earlier part of the week.

On the down side, there's been a bizarre harmonic convergence of death around us the last month or so. Too many of our friends and relations are dealing with the loss of their friends and relations. Mortality kinda sucks, you know?
