Let's see, Monday I had a med check with my doctor and upped my dose of Effexor from 150mg to 225, Tuesday we elected the better candidate to be our leader, Wednesday I went to a meeting in Seattle and learned that our candidate is already hitting the ground running*, Friday we went and caught The Wages of Sin at the Sunset Tavern in Ballard, and this weekend I sat around reading, only venturing out of the house for a quick swing through the Friends of the Library book sale and to put the rear fender back on my bike for the rainy season. So things should be pretty good.

* I volunteer on a committe for sightline.org and was talking with Alan Durning the director, who said he'd already been contacted by Gregoire's people because they'd already been contacted by the Obama Administration (doesn't that sound nice?) asking what the contents of a good economic stimulus package would look like for Washington. Durning and his staff coined the phrase "green-collar jobs" with their book by that title back in 1999, so he had a few suggestions :-)
