Test here

So looks like I'm returning to that state of mind where I can successfully convince myself against all evidence that life is just peachy. (I was rereading Stumbling on Happiness this weekend which reminded me of that fact that the people who are most realistic about their level of lameness are the clinically depressed. The healthy ones are just deluding ourselves. (I'm probably committing a logical fallacy there)).

Didn't do much but work this past week. Well, maybe that's not true. Saw a concert with friends on Monday night (Joe Ely), had drumming on Tuesday, hosted a GAIT meeting on Tuesday, and had a Sightline committee meeting in the city on Thursday. Tonight had friends over to watch The Wire.

Posted a massive catch up batch of mini and micro book reviews today over on my blog rather than trying to catch up on all the backlog with individual posts for each book.

I'm getting to the point where doing stuff looks possible, now it's figuring out how to decide what specific tasks to give my finite time to.

So there's this site called Typealyzer that sorts you into a Myers-Briggs bucket based on your writing on a web page. Here's what it says about my livejournal:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

This is the exact opposite of my latest actual test result which came out INTJ. :-) But the description is surprisingly fitting.

My blog comes out as ISTP )

Which is pretty close to what I consider my true type: INTP. But all that adventure and risk stuff they talk about must be hidden in the S because that is so not me.
