Had a house full of nieces from Friday evening until today. As a result there was a lot more meal preparation and general maintenance than usual. There was also a lot more fun playing with little girls than usual. On Saturday we all went to McCaw Hall at Seattle Center to see the Nutcracker. Thanks to R's insistence we had outrageously good seats and everyone enjoyed the show immensely. The sets and costumes designed by Maurice Sendak are marvelous. The dancers seemed quite good, and the choreography was great fun to watch (I don't know a thing about dance really, so that's the best I can do).

Not much else of note from the week. Appointment with the shrink, fitting for a bite guard to address my nighttime tooth grinding and jaw clenching, city transportation committee meeting.

Played with Facebook a bunch for some reason. May have been my sister's fault. I'm always a little surprised by how few of my friends from the past seem to have any findable web presence. Guess I'm just weird. (I'm the first hit if you search google for my name. I'm also the first whole page of hits and almost all of the hits in the first several pages. Not sure if this should make me proud or embarassed. Or excluded middle.)
