New pattern: 5min brisk walk, then enough repetitions of 90sec run and 120sec walk to make up 20 minutes. (that would be 4 reps plus another minute of something) I got confused in the middle and turned my timer up instead of down for the run segment so I ended up running 2:30 instead of 1:30 for one rep. oops. It seemed like it was a bit longer, but I thought I was just wimping out. Then I did a whole nother set at the end since I hadn't hit 20 minutes yet so I did 5 reps.
Felt pretty creaky in the knees and shins during the 5 min walk and first run cycle, but after that the aches and twinges went away and I felt fine. The ankle I broke back in August is definitely still weaker, but I think it's going to catch up.
So let's see, I went here for almost 3.25km in 23:30. Haven't passed another milepost on the road to Rivendell yet.
