The sky was strangely blue today.
Had lunch with my sister.
Rode the bus to Seattle Center with B (in spite of google transit's best attempts to keep us away) and had dinner with R and a friend before catching Book-It!'s last performance of their adaptation of The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears. Was good. I'd suggest you go see it, but last performance...
At intermission I stepped outside for a moment and the sky was an infinite progression of strange shades of blue.
After the show, walking across Seattle Center I looked straight up to see a tiny vee of five white birds high up in the sky lit from below by the lights of the Center, moving across the stars like a shape-shifting airplane.
On the ride home, the full moon was creeping above the Cascades, casting a column of orange reflection across Lake Washington.
Went for today's run a while ago so I'm ready now for a shower and some sleep. I'm into the Hobbits' second day of travel now.
