Fraidy cat
That's me.
Bussed down to EMP last night to the Maureen McHugh reading. She read a charming and heartbreaking story from her new collection. I think everyone was still processing it when she asked for questions. I came up with a couple about three hours later, but that probably would have been too long for her to wait around.
There were people there who are on my friendslist who I have never met. Did I hang out afterwards and go introduce myself? I did not. Sorry. Wimp. Hi.
Instead I scampered outside and walked back downtown just in time to miss my bus by 5 minutes just as it switched to its evening hourly schedule. Used the time moseying around figuring out where all the Issaquah-bound bus stops are on 2nd and taking pictures (some on flickr, some thinking about becoming a photo collage, damn you,
holyoutlaw.)
It was a lovely evening for a walk, but it was tainted a little by my being disgusted with myself for being so socially pathetic.
